Most modules are delivered at the Burnley UCLan campus or through blended web-based learning. The Burnley UCLan campus is a brand new development with excellent teaching facilities. The programme is delivered through applied learning, where you will apply theory to practice within the context of community based placements. Modes of delivery include lectures, discussions, guided group activities, case studies and individual study elements supported by paper based and online course materials. Moreover, the Freire Institute is based within the Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership (CVCL) at the Burnley Campus, and provides ample opportunities for extra-curricular Freire based learning and activities, including online training programmes.
